The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Psychosocial Wellbeing (ETPW) will be organised by the Faculty of Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, University of Namibia (UNAM) and will take place in a hybrid mode from October 21-23, 2025, at UNAM, Windhoek, Namibia.

The ETPW is an interdisciplinary conference that brings together scholars and practitioners from a range of backgrounds to consider research, policy, rhetoric, and practice on how we can advance our understanding of psychology, social work, counselling, and education.

Artificial intelligence (AI) can have a significant impact on psychosocial health, including mental health, well-being, and social interactions. AI can help detect and prevent health disorders, improve treatment options, and make mental health care more accessible.
​
It’s time to integrate AI tools into psychological practice while prioritising patient privacy.
Wearable technology offers exciting ways to improve therapy and training. This conference aims to explore how to safely integrate AI in the pursuit of well-being, including the clarification of questions about trust and what happens when technology makes mistakes.
Objectives
The ETPW conference is anticipated to attract a large number of high quality submissions and stimulate cutting-edge research discussions among many academic pioneering researchers, scientists, practitioners, and students from all around the world and provide a forum to researchers on:
